Emerald Bride, Kaitlyn Kuehler-Sandoval

It’s an absolute pleasure to feature our next Real Emerald Bride, Kaitlyn Sandoval. Kaitlyn was one of those RARE cases where she came in knowing exactly which dress she wanted and leaving with THAT dress. When I tell y’all this is RARE, it happens maybe 1 out of every 10 brides. Big emphasis on the MAYBE! Kaitlyn made our job almost TOO easy with how easy going and sweet she was. You can find her wearing one of our all time favorites, Scout. Scout is an Enchanting by Mon Cheri dress that’s both simple and elegant. The bodice is lined with a delicate yet bold lace with beading hugging the floral pattern of the lace and adding the perfect sparkle to the straps. The lace bodice gives way to a simple, crepe skirt that is SUPER comfortable! You’re able to sit, dance, and feel absolutely beautiful on your wedding without compromising your bridal look. Can you talk about the train on Scout? She’s a whole vibe with the pop of lace and alllllll the buttons. Can you tell we love LOVE love Scout?

Want to know more about Kaitlyn’s wedding day and what she wishes she could change about the wedding industry?

Read on for the details:

How did you and your now husband / wife meet?

I wanted to buy a house and he worked in an office that does all of the paperwork for the process!

How long have you and your spouse been together?

2 Years!

Where did you get married at? Why did you choose this location?

French country farms in Wichita Falls, TX! This venue is very close to where we live and it is beautiful.

Your favorite memory or funny story from your wedding?

I forgot my necklace and my now husband brought it with him taped to a piece of paper so he wouldn’t forget to bring it too!

Would you consider your wedding traditional or non traditional? Why?

A mix of both! We did not get married in a church or read anything super biblical. Our ceremony was SHORT (right under 6 minutes from start to finish) which is what we wanted. We did not do a first look, we saw each other at the end of the aisle for the first time.

Who said I love you first?

I did! And on the first date 🙈

As a couple, what is your favorite date night?

We like to take it easy but we are competitive too. We have fun at Top Golf or going to see a movie and dinner.

Describe your experience at Emerald’s.

It was great! Stress free, relaxing, really helpful and knowledgeable consultants!

What made you fall in love with your dress?

Once I saw this dress on instagram, I knew it was for me. I tried it on in store and I loved it even more!

If there’s one thing you would change about the wedding industry what would it be?

The timelines. You get your dress in advance, your venue in advance, everything is so far out. We did get extremely lucky pulling our wedding off in 3.5 months with all of the vendors we wanted but it was tight for sure!
