Today we are going to be sharing the love story between our lovely Emerald Bride Lindsey and her now husband Jacob.
Lindsey and Jacob have been together since 2017 and met their senior year in high school. They go to Texas Tulips every year for their annual spring date and that is when Jacob decided to pop the question! How CUTE!!!
Lindsey fell in love with our dress Scarlett. Scarlett is one of our most glam gown’s with 3D floral appliques, off the shoulder sleeves and a high slit. She is a lot to love and Lindsey loved every single piece of her! Lindsey also trusted our incredible seamstress we recommend (KaitlynCoufalCouture) and they created a beautiful lining for Scarlett, adjusted the slit and made the off the shoulder sleeves detachable! WHAT A VISION! We are truly obsessed!

Here is what Lindsey had to say about her experience with us!
What’s a solid piece of advice or quote you would share with a future bride?
Your wedding day is the one day that is supposed to be what you want. While we want to be considerate of everyone’s feelings, they are not always entitled to an opinion. Yours supersedes all.
If there’s one thing you would change about the wedding industry what would it be? Why?
Price gauging or thinking you need to out do the last wedding you saw on Instagram. It’s your day and that’s all that matters! Opinions of others are not the place for YOUR day.
What made you fall in love with your dress?
It was soooo unique and so me. I am obsessed w flowers and the 3D flowers were everything to me. I felt sexy, but beautiful all at once.
What was one thing that was considered a “must have” for your wedding?
An amazing photographer and videographer!
Your favorite memory or funny story from your wedding?
Walking down the aisle. I was so nervous before but when I saw him when the doors opened, it was like the weight of the world was finally off my shoulders. I knew in that moment all of the planning and years of long distance was worth it. I knew that God created that moment just for the two of us.
Where did you get married at? Why did you choose this location?
The Brooks at Weatherford. It’s BEAUTIFUL and has that outdoor-indoor feel I was looking for. Very unique. Looks more cottage than rustic and I really liked that.
