We are taking time today to celebrate such a fun couple, Ashlyn & Joe!
Ashlyn and Joe met through their bestfriends, who were their matron of honor and best man, seriously que the tears! How cute!

“New Year’s Eve we went to a fancy dinner with our best friends (they were our best man and matron of honor). After dinner we all went for a walk near these beautiful Christmas lights and proposed in front of a massive Christmas tree while our friends took pictures and recorded.”
You can see Ashlyn wearing our favorite romantic ballgown dress named Jane.
Jane has detachable off the shoulder straps but it can totally be a strapless if you prefer, which that is what Ashlyn did. She is so supportive and has the most delicate sparkle to her tulle!

Did you do a first look at your wedding? If so describe it!
Yes first look and private vows. 10/10 highly recommend it! It was the most special moment of the entire day for us to just sneak away to have that private moment just the two of us. It also made for the best photos.
Where did you get married at? Why did you choose this location?
We got married at Venue nine-twenty in Weatherford TX. We decided on that venue because it has a large place to host a reception and a lot of land to set up an outdoor ceremony. We liked the idea that if for some reason it rained we had enough room for a back up in order ceremony as well as reception. It was a plus that the venue owner was the best.
What was one thing that was considered a “must have” for your wedding?
Must have hands down was to have a phenomenal photographer. Other must have were my florals. Since it was a spring theme I had to have beautiful colorful arrangements.
What made you fall in love with your dress?
I tried on a few dresses before I found the one. As soon as I saw myself in the mirror I knew instantly that it was THE dress! It made me feel like the most beautiful bride ever.
What’s a solid piece of advice or quote you would share with a future bride?
The best advice I can give is for the big day. In your wedding day just know not everything will be perfect and some things make not go completely as planned. Just don’t let those things ruin your time. The day goes by so fast so enjoy every moment.
