Emerald Bride, Brittany Pearce-Kuehn
Say hello to our lovely Emerald bride, Brittany!!!
Brittany came into Emerald saying she was getting married in Gulf Shores, Alabama! First of all where was the invite, secondly how beautiful!!! We were seriously so honored to help Brittany’s vision come to life and have the most perfect non-traditonal wedding.
You can see Brittany is wearing one of our gorgeous dresses named “Madison.” Madison is an all crepe dress with the right amount of lace on the back that adds the perfect touch of bridal. Madison is such a comfortable dress and so timeless!
We can’t wait to share Brittany’s wedding journey with you!
What’s a solid piece of advice or quote you would share with a future bride?
“This day is all about you and your future spouse. Others can give their opinion but at the end of the day, if it's not something you want, don't do it. Also, don't sweat the small stuff.”
If there’s one thing you would change about the wedding industry what would it be? Why?
“I would change how restaurants charge a premium for a rehearsal dinner. Private dining for a family reunion cost less than if I were to say it was a rehearsal dinner. Same service and food but we're charged more because it's related to a wedding.”
What made you fall in love with your dress?
“It was a perfect fit for the beach. Not too casual and not to fancy.”
Your favorite memory or funny story from your wedding?
“Aside from saying "I do" at the church, my favorite memory was the end of the beach wedding. Where we were holding the reception, there was a pool next to the dance floor. My uncle and brother jumped in after the last song. Followed by my dad being pushed in by my cousins and other brother. After watching a couple more people jump in, Michael and I jumped in the pool as well.”
As a couple, what is your favorite date night?
“Our favorite date activity is going out and trying something new (food, concerts, adventure activities, etc.)”
