Come as you are, leave an Emerald Bride

There are a million places to shop for shoes. There are a million different restaurants to choose for dinner but you chose Texas Roadhouse for the 2nd time this week. Why do you choose the places you do when there are a million different options out there? Point blank, it’s TRUST. It’s the comfort that comes with knowing what you’re walking into and feeling comfortable enough to embrace it. So why Emerald? Of all million and one bridal shops out there, why Emerald Bridal Lounge? Read on to see what makes us, us.

People First:

To our absolute CORE we understand that you are a bride. To anyone just walking down the street it might mean “Oh, so you’re getting married.” But to us, we understand the full extent of what being a bride TRULY means. All the emotions, stigmas, unknowns and knowns, do’s and don’ts, the happiness for starting your life with your fiance and the sadness that comes with ending a chapter you know so well. For some, this is just a dress and there’s nothing wrong with that. But to you, this is THE dress you’ve been dreaming of since you were a little girl. Whether you’re just looking for a dress or looking for THE dress, we are here to make your moment matter and worth remembering because regardless of the circumstance, you’re worth celebrating. You will be supported in this emotionally driven decision by an equally emotional stylist. We fully embrace every emotion that comes with this “yes moment” because we take the time to learn what makes you, YOU. A silly little question we love asking in our re-appointment questionnaire to our brides is, if you were to be described as a color, what color would you be? What might seem like a nonsensical question actually gives us the freedom to learn how your closest friends and family view you. Are you yellow? Cool, you’re a ray of sunshine to those in your life! Are you green? Cool, you’re down to earth and a steady rock in your peoples lives. You see, we embrace you for who you are, not what we “think” a bride should be or what society tells us what a bride should be. We aren’t just selling you a dress….(yuck, we cringe at the word sale)….we are defining, facilitating, and protecting life’s moments. There are too many negatives out there that just want to see you unhappy. If we’re lucky enough, you’ll give us the chance to prove to you why you deserve to be celebrated as not only a person but most importantly, as a BRIDE.

Ultimate Hype Crew:

You, the bride, comes first. When we are in an appointment with you, the world slows down and all focus is on you. We feel what you feel. The happy, the anxious, the insecurities, the relief, all of those feelings. We embrace everything you’re telling us and decipher the things you’re not able to express. We are grounded in our roles as your therapist, your best friend, your shoulder to cry on, whatever you need us to be, we welcome your journey and embrace every second of it. At the end of the day, we are humans too and that just makes all these experiences real. We cringe at the phrase of “sales person” because it means so much more that and every moment we bring to life only validates that what we do is so much more than just a dress or just another bride or just another sale or just another whatever name you want to define it by! Our ultimate goal is to create a home for our brides, not just a house. All we ask of you is to just be yourself!

Education = Educators

The only way we can be our best selves is to consistently poor into ourselves. Whether it be weekly goal meetings, diving deep into our education of not just our inventory but our knowledge of being a bridal stylist and refining our bridal experience or just going to lunch as a group so we can laugh, cry, and vent about life, we will always chose growth so we can better ourselves in hopes of providing the best possible us, for you! We are a team that is here to serve you. When you have your appointment with us, there is a really good chance you’ll get multiple stylists working with you. Two minds is better than one right? This way, we can ensure you’re taken care of from the moment you walk through our doors. Picture this, you have your third dress on with us and you’re saying things like “I love the lace but dont love the overall fit. I wish it had XYZ instead of ABC!” When you have two minds working on putting together the puzzles pieces of your perfect dress, the inevitable of finding your perfect dress comes MUCH quicker! It’s not that one stylist can’t get the job done, everyone at Emerald is VERY capable finding your dream dress. It’s just that our main focus is to make this as stress free as possible for you so we will work as one to ensure that! If that means all hands on deck, than by all means its all hands on deck!! Something we take absolute pride in is our ability to have the “hard” conversations. When one of us isn’t having the best day, month, or afternoon, whatever the case may be, we talk it out. We come together as a family and talk through to help bring that person up. This translates effortlessly into our appointments as well. When a bride isn’t having the best day, we will take the time to figure it out with you. At the end of the day, your brokenness is always welcomed here.
